CASTLE RESORTS & HOTELS WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS MAILE SKY COURT MANAGEMENT TEAM

Honolulu, Hawaii – Castle Resorts & Hotels welcomes Jernell Mendonca as general manager, Luana Kekaula-Castillo as sales manager, and Diane White-Gonzalez as revenue/reservations manager for Maile Sky Court.  

Castle Resorts & Hotels was awarded the management of the Maile Sky Court Hotel in October 2007.   It is one of Castle Resorts & Hotels’ 26 properties in Hawaii, Guam, Micronesia, New Zealand and Thailand.   

Castle Resorts & Hotels has appointed Jernell Mendonca as general manager of the 596-room Maile Sky Court hotel.  Mendonca returns to Castle, having previously served as general manager of the former Waikiki Terrace Hotel.  She has more than 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry and most recently held a position in the corporate offices of ResortQuest Hawaii as the operations specialist, where she was responsible for customizing, standardizing and communicating operating procedures and processes for nearly 30 hotels, condominium resorts and villas statewide.

As sales manager, Luana Kekaula-Castillo will be responsible for generating revenues and sales initiatives.  She has more than 26 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has extensive knowledge in sales and product development. Previously she has worked with Business & Leisure Holidays, Best Western Plaza, Aston Hotels and Resorts, Ala Moana Hotel, HTH Corporation, Holiday Inns and the Honolulu International Airport Hotel.

Diane White-Gonzalez returns to Castle Resorts & Hotels as the new revenue/reservations manager at the Maile Sky Court Hotel.  She will oversee reservations and revenue optimization strategies for the hotel.  White-Gonzalez was previously with Castle Resorts & Hotels for six years in numerous management positions.  She joins the Maile Sky Court with over ten years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Maile Sky Court, located at 2058 Kuhio Ave., is an outstanding value near Waikiki’s popular attractions and activities. It offers panoramic ocean, Diamond Head or city views on the higher floors, nicely furnished guest rooms and one-bedroom suites with microwaves or kitchenettes.
