CASTLE RESORTS & HOTELS MANAGES FOUR NEW PROPERTIES FORMER MARC RESORTS PROPERTIES

Honolulu, Hawaii – Castle Resorts & Hotels began management of four of Marc Resorts’ former properties, which include the Molokai Shores on the island of Molokai as well as Pali Ke Kua, Puu Poa and Hale Moi Cottages in Princeville, Kauai.  Castle Resorts & Hotels now manages 30 hotels, condominium resorts and villas on five Hawaiian islands, Guam, Saipan, New Zealand and Thailand.  

“The unexpected closure of Marc Resorts was very unfortunate and our initial concern was for the employees and guests.  We were able to retain all property employees, service existing hotel guests and accommodate arriving guests.” said Alan Mattson, chief operating officer and president of Castle Resorts & Hotels.  “Our corporate culture is one of flexibility and with very little advance notice, we were able to transition important resort operations with no disruption of service.”    

The oceanfront Molokai Shores is the only condominium resort in the Kaunakakai area of Molokai.  It features one and two bedroom suites, all with oceanfront views, a full kitchen and private lanai.  Amenities include a large oceanfront pool, BBQ grills, shuffleboard and a picnic area. 

Pali Ke Kua is a luxury condominium resort with one and two bedroom condominium suites with garden, ocean or oceanfront views.  It is set in a lush tropical setting, on a bluff overlooking Hanalei Bay and famed mystical “Bali Hai”.  Amenities include a swimming pool, jetspa, barbecue grill and picnic area.  A path leads down to a hidden, private beach below.

Puu Poa is known for its distinctive, contemporary architecture and is perched above the cliffs of Princeville overlooking the Pacific Ocean.   Two bedroom suites feature a full kitchen, washer and dryer and private lanai.  Amenities include a tennis court and a swimming pool. 

Hale Moi Cottages offers incredible waterfall views of the Hanalei Valley Mountains.  Each 2 story cottage features studio and one bedroom suites with full kitchen and complimentary dial-up internet access and free local calls.  Amenities include a barbecue and picnic area, complimentary parking and complimentary newspaper.
