CASTLE RESORTS & HOTELS HIRES AND PROMOTES SALES AND MARKETING STAFF TO ACCOMMODATE EXPANSION

Honolulu, Hawaii - Castle Resorts & Hotels has added several members to its sales and marketing team to handle its continuous expansion in Hawaii and Asia.  The Hawaii-based management company acquired contracts for six properties in 2007 including two in Thailand, and one in Guam.  It now features 26 properties throughout Hawaii, New Zealand, Micronesia, and Thailand.

Jane Kingston comes to Castle Resorts & Hotels as regional director of sales and marketing - Oceania.  She has more than 15 years’ management and supervisory experience in the hotel and hospitality industry.  Previously she has worked at the Rendezvous Hotel Auckland, Carlton Crest Hotel - Brisbane, Hilton Hotels – Sydney. 

Castle Resorts & Hotels has promoted Mimi Chan to business intelligence manager.  She will be in charge of compiling forecasts, monthly sales utilization, financial reports and other competitive information for the company.  Chan joined Castle as sales analyst in August 2007.  Previously she worked at the Hyatt Regency Waikiki Resort & Spa for more than 13 years, holding several positions including commercial property manager. 

Joycelyn Wan joins Castle as corporate revenue optimization manager in charge of monitoring the property availability, responding to inventory requests, and reviewing weekly forecasts.  She will also assist in reviewing pace, competitive, market and trend analysis.  Wan has more than 17 years of Hawaii hotel and hospitality experience.  Previously she has held positions as reservation manager at Turtle Bay Resort, hotel operator at the Aston Waikiki Banyan and guest history coordinator at the Halekulani.  

Pananda Phansiri joins Castle as assistant director of sales for its newest property, Baan Taling Nam Resort & Spa in Koh Samui, Thailand.  She will be responsible for handling all wholesale, retail and corporate accounts contracted for the resort.  Phansiri will be based in Castle’s office in Bangkok Thailand.  She has more than five years of experience in the sales and hospitality industries.  Previously, she was the senior sales manager representing Ramanda Hotels & Resorts in Phuket and Khao Lak.  Phansiri earned her bachelor’s degree in from the University of Bangkok and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in marketing.
