QUEEN'S COURT RESTAURANT

Located in the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel, the Queen's Court has been a long time favorite among local residents and visitors, alike.  The restaurant has recently completed a total renovation, enhancing its marvelous, panoramic views of Hilo Bay.  The newly-renovated dining room embraces the art of hula and Hawaiian culture with artwork that celebrates the beauty and grace of this ancient dance.  The vibrant colors of the artwork are accentuated by the darker, warmer wood tones used throughout the restaurant.

Executive Chef, Piet Wigmans, CEC, emphasizes the use of locally-sourced produce selected from the Hilo Farmer's Market and other providers on the island, and menu entrées cover broad array of choices.

To start the day, Queen's Court Restaurant serves a scrumptious daily breakfast buffet with eggs, meats, fruits, pastries and breads, as well as an ala carte menu with specialties such as the “Hilo Hawaiian Special” omelet with bacon, Portuguese sausage, grilled onions, cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, served with passion fruit Hollandaise sauce.

 Perhaps The Queen’s Court is best known for its weekend buffets. The Friday evening Seafood Buffet consists of snow crab clusters, Mahi Mahi fish, Cioppino mussels, seafood Newburg, shrimp curry, oysters, salad bar, and much more. On Saturday and Sunday nights, a Hawaiian and Seafood Buffet expands the offerings to include such local favorites as whole roasted suckling pig, Huli Huli chicken, Lau Lau, Lomi Lomi salmon, and chicken long rice.

From Monday through Thursday an ala carte dinner is served, with such selections as steak, fish, pasta, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and delicious desserts. Reservations are recommended for dinner. Please call (808) 969-6470.

WAI`OLI LOUNGE

HOURS OF OPERATION:  Daily from 11:30 am; Happy Hour: 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm

After a day of adventure exploring the volcano and historic Hilo town, sit down and unwind at the Wai'oli Lounge, with its picturesque view across Hilo Bay. Wai'oli means "Happy Water" and what better way to end the day  (or to start the day) happily with a refreshing Lava Flow or Mai Tai!  Beer, wine, well drinks and more exotic tropical drinks are available.  

CASUAL DINING AND PUPUS:  5:00 pm - 9:00 pm daily

Relax with casual fare and appetizers in the Wai'oli Lounge.  On the weekends, enjoy the sounds of live Hawaiian contemporary music.
