KAMAOLE SANDS

Kamaole Sands is one of the most popular condominium resorts on Maui. Accommodations are spacious and comfortable, offering one-, two- and three-bedroom suites with fully-equipped kitchens and private lanais. Four complimentary tennis courts, large swimming pool, sun deck, two jet spas, and nine barbeque areas are on property. Overlooking Kamaole Beach Park III, which has a children’s play area and park, the Kamaole Sands offers 15 acres of tropical gardens, complete with ponds, fountains, and waterfalls. This resort has a two-night minimum stay requirement.

Deposit/Guarantee Requirements

A 1 night deposit per room is required except for arrivals between December 22, 2009 and January 3, 2010, when a 2 night deposit is required. Credit card deposits must be in the guest's name or in the name of a member in the traveling party.

Cancellation/No-show Policies

You may cancel without penalty up to 4 days prior to arrival for any arrivals between January 3, 2009 and December 21, 2009. A 1 night room and tax fee will be charged for any cancellation received on or less than 3 days prior to the arrival date (Hawaii Standard Time). For arrival dates between December 22, 2009 and January 3, 2010, you may cancel without penalty up to 31 days prior to arrival. A 2 night room and tax fee will be charged for any cancellation received on or less than 30 days prior to the arrival date (Hawaii Standard Time). A reservation that was not honored is considered a no-show and the advance deposit will be forfeited.

Taxes and Fees

Room rates are subject to 11.417% tax (including Hawaii General Excise Tax of 4.16% and Transient Accommodation Tax of 7.25%). A one time Resort fee of $15.00 plus tax per room will be charged to guests directly upon check in and will include Entry gate electronic card, pool gate codes, parking permit, free morning Maui newspaper, free Maui magazine, free local calls, complimentary "Cyber Cafe"access card, Wednesday Mai Tai Party invitation.  PLEASE NOTE:  Effective July 1, 2009 the total tax rate will be 12.416% for all reservations. Due to limitations within our booking engine, bookings confirmed PRIOR to July 1 for travel from July 1, 2009 and beyond will still reflect the current tax amount; you will only see the newly increased tax amount on your final bill upon checkout.  Thank you for your understanding.

Extra Charges

Children 17 and under stay free using existing bedding; total occupants including children cannot exceed max pax (occupancy) of the confirmed room. Rollaways and cribs are subject to availability. Rollaway charge: $30 per night. Cribs are complimentary upon request.

Guests who are staying less than 7 days can purchase additional housekeeping services at nominal
costs. Extra towels and amenities will be provided in each unit prior to check-in. Guests can
request for replenishment of the bath amenities (shampoo, soap, toilet tissues) at any time without
charge. There will be a small fee for the replacement of towels/linens.

Requests for non-smoking rooms or specific bedding are honored whenever possible based on availability at check-in. Due to inventory limitations, these requests cannot be guaranteed. Rates, restrictions, and information are subject to change without notice. Not all restrictions are listed. All offers are subject to program availability. Rates are listed in US dollars except where otherwise noted. All published rates are commissionable to travel agents at 10%.

Minimum Night Stay Policy

There is a 2 Nights Minimum stay during the periods of January 4, 2009-December 21, 2009. For arrivals during Year End Season, there is a 5 Nights Minimum stay (December 22, 2009-January 3, 2010).
