DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
Directions from the Airport (10 miles – 25 minutes): Via H-1 Freeway
Take the H-1 Freeway East Honolulu on ramp. Remain on the H-1 Freeway headed East for approximately 10 miles. Take Exit 25A (King Street Exit) located on the right side of the freeway. Once off the freeway, there will be a 4-way intersection. Proceed through the intersection (Chevron Gas Station & Foodland Supermarket will be on the right). Get into the right lane. This lane is a “right turn only” and will take you onto Kapahulu Avenue. Remain on Kapahulu Avenue for approximately 2 miles. Proceed through the intersection of Kapahulu Avenue and Kuhio Avenue and turn right on Lemon Road. Lemon Road is a one-way street that ends at Paoakalani Avenue. Turn right on Paoakalani Avenue also a one-way street. The Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki is located on the right side of the street, on the corner of Paoakalani Avenue and Kuhio Avenue. To park your vehicle, proceed up the hotel’s driveway and a 24-hour parking valet attendant will assist you with your vehicle. The hotel’s Bell Staff is also located in this area and is available to assist you with your luggage during the hours of 5:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. daily. Via Nimitz Highway
Take the H-1 Freeway East on ramp heading towards Waikiki/Honolulu. Exit H-1 Freeway via Nimitz Highway Exit 18A (Route 92). Nimitz Highway will eventually become Ala Moana Boulevard. The Downtown Honolulu business district will be on the left and the port of Honolulu will be on the right as you proceed toward Waikiki. Other landmarks en-route to Waikiki is the Ward Entertainment Shopping Center and Ala Moana Shopping Center on the left and Ala Moana Beach Park on the right. Continue East on Ala Moana Boulevard (stay in the middle or left lane). Upon entering the Waikiki area, the Hilton Hawaiian Village and Ft. DeRussy will be on the right. From Ala Moana Boulevard, turn right onto Kalakaua Avenue. Continue on Kalakaua Avenue for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Paoakalani Avenue, a one-way street. The Ocean Resort Hotel Waikiki is located on the right side of the street, on the corner of Paoakalani Avenue and Kuhio Avenue. To park your vehicle, proceed up the hotel’s driveway and a 24-hour parking valet attendant will assist you with your vehicle. Deposit/Guarantee Requirements
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card at time of booking; NOTE: NO third-party credits card will be accepted. Credit cards submitted MUST be from a registered in-room guest.
Cancellation/No-show Policies
You may cancel without penalty up to 4 days before your arrival date (Hawaii Standard Time). A 1 night room and tax fee will be charged for any cancellation received on or less than 3 days prior to the arrival date (Hawaii Standard Time). If you are arriving on December 24, 2010- January 3, 2011, please cancel 31 days prior to arrival date (Hawaii Standard Time) to avoid a penalty of 2 night room charge plus tax. A reservation that was not honored is considered a no-show and the advance deposit will be forfeited.
Taxes and Fees Room rates are subject to 13.962% tax (including Hawaii General Excise Tax of 4.166%, Transient Accommodations Tax of 9.25% and Honolulu County Surcharge of 0.546%).
Extra Charges
Extra person charge: $25 per night. Children 17 and under stay free using existing bedding; total occupants including children cannot exceed max pax (occupancy) of the confirmed room. Rollaways and cribs are subject to availability. Rollaway charge: $25 per night. Crib charge: N/A; Self Parking Only - Fee: $15 per day, subject to availability. Mandatory porterage charge: $7.00 per person (plus tax) shall be accessed based on the following criteria: 1) A minimum of four (4) rooms traveling together, arriving into the hotel on the same arrival date and departing on the same departure date and, 2) Departing from the same originating destination and ending at the same originating destination and, 3) Arriving on the same arrival flight and departing on the same departing flight.
