DRIVING DIRECTIONS:Directions from the Airport (15 miles - 30 minutes). As you exit the Lihue Airport you will be on Ahukini Road (Highway 570). Continue through the first traffic light signal (at Kapule Highway 51) and continue for about a mile on Akuhini Road until you reach the second traffic signal at the intersection of Kuhio Highway / Highway 56. Note that if your rental car company is other than Hertz, Avis, Budget or Alamo, it is located off of the airport property. You should return to the airport via Kapule Highway to the intersection and turn left onto Akuhini Road and go to Highway 56. Turn left onto Highway 56 West, stay on the right and drive about 7 miles. At about 0.3 miles, the highway will merge into Kaumualii Highway / Highway 50 West. Continue on Kaumualii Highway / Highway 50 West as it leaves Lihue toward the Poipu area. At 7 miles, turn left onto Highway 520, which is also known as The Tunnel of Trees, which leads to Koloa Town and Poipu. Go about 3.2 miles until Highway 520 ends at Koloa Road in Koloa town. Turn right onto Koloa Road. Less then a block later at the service station, you turn left on to Poipu Road. Go 1.4 miles on Poipu Road until you reach a traffic circle. Take the third right out of the traffic circle towards Poipu Beach. Go 1 mile to the "Poipu Beach" sign. Turn right and go about 0.2 miles until the road ends at Poipu Beach. Turn left, go past Brennecke's Restaurant and follow the road along the shoreline for about 0.4 miles until you get to the Poipu Shores. At about 0.3 mile, the road jogs 90 degrees to the left and then back to the right and goes up a hill; Poipu Shores is about 3/4 to the top of the hill on the right. Minimum Night Stay PolicyA minimum stay of 5 nights is required for all bookings during the travel period of 12/24/10 - 1/3/11. Deposit/Guarantee Requirements A 1 night deposit per room is required except for arrivals between December 24, 2010 and January 3, 2011, when a 2 night deposit is required. Credit card deposits must be in the guest's name or in the name of a member in the traveling party. Cancellation/No-show PoliciesYou may cancel without penalty up to 4 days prior to arrival for any arrivals between January 4, 2010 and December 23, 2010. A 1 night room and tax fee will be charged for any cancellation received on or less than 3 days prior to the arrival date (Hawaii Standard Time). For arrival dates between December 24, 2010 and January 3, 2011, you may cancel without penalty up to 31 days prior to arrival. A 2 night room and tax fee will be charged for any cancellation received on or less than 30 days prior to the arrival date (Hawaii Standard Time). A reservation that was not honored is considered a no-show and the advance deposit will be forfeited. Taxes and FeesRoom rates are subject to 13.416% tax (including Hawaii General Excise Tax of 4.166% and Transient Accommodations Tax of 9.25%). Extra ChargesChildren 17 and under stay free using existing bedding; total occupants including children cannot exceed max pax (occupancy) of the confirmed room. Rollaways and cribs are subject to availability. Rollaway charge: $30 per night. Cribs are free upon request. Guests who are staying less than 7 days can purchase additional housekeeping services at nominal costs. Extra towels and amenities will be provided in each unit prior to check-in. Guests can request for replenishment of the bath amenities (shampoo, soap, toilet tissues) at any time without charge. There will be a small fee for the replacement of towels/linens. Air-conditioning is available in some of the units for an additional charge. Terms and ConditionsAll rooms and lanais are non-smoking. Smoking is limited to 3 designated areas on property.
