This 50-room boutique hotel is inspired by the lotus blossom, which blooms from the depths of a pond into a beautifully scented flower, much like the formation of the Hawaiian islands.   The Lotus at Diamond Head is a fusion of Asian inspired décor and warm Hawaiian hospitality.   The design combines natural elements, rich woods and graceful lines with soft textures, plush beds and feather pillows. Remarkable views of majestic Diamond Head can be taken in from the private lanai of each guest room.  Modern conveniences include an iPod docking station, wireless Internet access and personalized climate controlled comfort.   Numerous diversions that keep one entertained include cable television, in-room movies, CD and DVD player with an audio/video library available.
