Waimea Canyon
Take Highway 50 west from Hanapepe toward Waimea, take Waimea Canyon Drive.

Appropriately nicknamed the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific“ by Mark Twain, this natural wonder offers spectacular scenery and breathtaking views. Read more about the Waimea Canyon.
      

Wailua Falls
The waterfall is located at the end of the Highway 583. Only 5 minutes from Lihu'e.
Beautiful waterfalls made famous by the Fantasy Island series.


Spouting Horn
Located in the Poipu area.
Poipu's top attraction, this lava tube spouts a geyser of water when the waves roll in, often with a deep moaning sound.


Ho'opulapula Haraguchi Rice Mill

The Haraguchi Rice Mill is located on the W.T. Haraguchi Farm in beautiful Hanalei Valley, on the north shore of Kauai. It is owned by the Haraguchi family, which still farms taro on the adjacent lands that once supported rice. The mill is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, documenting and interpreting this unique historic structure. Weekly public tours of both the rice mill and the taro fields help support free school tours, educational programs and restoration efforts. Public tours held 9am every Wednesday with lunch included; must call for reservation in advance.
