Getting to the Castle at Princeville

Directions from Lihue Airport (9 miles - 20 minutes)

Leaving airport, turn right at the stoplight onto Kapule Highway 51 which merges into Kuhio Highway 56 north. Travel approximately 24 miles; you will pass Princeville airport, Princeville golf club & Princeville ranch. Turn right onto Ka Haku road; you have entered Princeville development. Turn right onto the driveway of Pali Ke Kua resort; the office is located in the first building on the right; next to Saffron restaurant.

Resort & Reservations

Will my credit card get charged?

A hold will be placed on your credit card equal to the deposit. A 1 night deposit per room is required except for arrivals from December 20 - January 7, when a 2 night deposit is required.

Is there a minimum night stay requirement?

A minimum of 3 nights is required for all travel dates, except December 20 - January 7, when a minimum of 5 nights is required.

Are there any additional fees that I should know about?

Yes, a cleaning fee will be applied to all bookings for stays and will be assessed by the property at check-out. Fees are per stay, per condo unit, plus taxes.

Standard check in time is after 3pm HST and check out is before 11 AM HST.

What are your front desk hours & after hours procedures?

Front Desk hours are from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Mondays through Fridays, with limited availability on weekends and holidays. Should you arrive after hours, please call (808) 826-9066.

Can I request an early check in or late check out?

You may request for early checkin or late checkout, which will be subject to availability. Fees may apply.

I didn't receive a confirmation. How can I check if my reservation went through?

If you made an online reservation, you will be receiving an email confirmation. Please check your spam/junk mail folder if you have not received anything. To reconfirm your reservation, you can call our customer representative at (800) 367-5004 or send us an email resinquiry@castleresorts.com.

Can I upgrade my room?

Yes, you can upgrade to a larger suite or room with a view. Call us at (800) 367-5004 and a customer representative will be delighted to assist you.

Do you have a resort fee, what is the fee, & what does it include?

We do not charge a resort fee.

Are requests guaranteed?

You may make requests at the time of booking. Please note, requests are not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

ROOMS

Do you offer cribs?

No. But you may contact Ready Rentals at www.readyrentals.com or (808) 823-8008. They will have the crib delivered and assembled prior to your arrival.

Do the rooms include internet access?

Most rooms, but not all, have high speed internet access.

Do you provide housekeeping service?

For stays of seven nights or longer, a linen change is provided free of charge on the 4th day of the stay. For additional services, the following fees apply: full clean on a one bedroom at $125/day, two bedroom at $150/day; change of linens: one bedroom $65/day and two bedroom $85/day.

Do you offer smoking rooms?

All our rooms are non smoking in compliance with state law.

Do you offer ADA rooms, how many and which room types?

Unfortunately we do not.

SERVICES & AMENITIES

What bath amenities do you provide?

Complimentary bathroom amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, facial soap, and body soap.

Do you have a pool and Jacuzzi?

Pali Ke Kua has a pool and hot tub, hours are 8am - 9pm. Puu Poa has a pool and tennis court, hours are 8am - 9pm and Hale Moi does not offer a pool.

Do you provide beach or pool towels?

Pool/beach towels can be picked up at our Pali Ke Kua office during business hours. They must be returned to the office at check-out or a fee applies.

Do you allow pets?

Pets are not allowed in our guest rooms or resort area, with the exception of service animals. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a penalty fee and dismissal from the property.

Do you have a restaurant, if not what are the closest restaurants and distance?

While we do not have a restaurant on-site, Princeville has many dining options.

TRANSPORTATION & LOCATION

Do you offer transportation?

Public transportations are available from the airport to the property, including car, shuttle, taxi and public transit. Our properties do not offer airport shuttles or transfers.

How close are you to the beach?

The Pali Ke Kua has beach access. There is a private path which is approximately 300 yards, about a 10 minute walk.

How far are you from the airport?

Approximately 32 miles from Lihue Airport, or approximately 45 minutes by car.

Airport taxi service?

Yes, we call a taxi for you as needed and requested.

Do you offer parking?

Self parking is available free of charge, 1 stall per room but it is not guraranteed.

Room Type - Payment & Cancellation Policies

Room Type - Payment Policy

All reservations require a deposit of one night plus Hawaii General Excise Tax to be charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon check-in.

The credit card used for the deposit must be in guest’s name or in the name of a member in the traveling party. The outstanding balance will be collected upon check–in, if not provided prior to arrival. Reservations are not confirmed

Room Type - Cancellation Policy

Refundable if cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival, 29 days or less to arrival forfeits 1 night + General Excise Tax (including no-shows).

Taxes and Fees

Room rates are subject to Hawaii General Excise Tax and Transient Accommodations Taxes, which currently totals 14.4712%.

A check-out cleaning fee will be applied to all bookings and will be assessed by the property at check-out. Fees are per stay, per condo unit, plus taxes:

Minimum Night Stay Policy

There is a 3 night minimum stay.

Family Plan
    • Children 17 and under stay free using existing bedding; total occupants including children cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of the confirmed room. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a supplemental per person fee an/or immediate cancellation of the right to occupy the unit.
    • Cribs are subject to availability and can be rented for $20 per night.
    • Rollaway Beds are subject to availability and can be rented for $25 per night.
Additional Comfort
    • Parking can be purchased for $25 per day.
    • Additional housekeeping services can be requested for a surcharge.
    • You may use Castle's Island Grocery Delivery Service to order your groceries & have them delivered to your room prior to arrival or during your stay. Visit www.IslandGroceryService.com. Fee applies
Qualified Rates

To be eligible for a qualified rate (Military, Senior, Kama'aina, Government, AAA/CAA, Commercial, Airline employee, Owner Club, Travel Agent, etc.) guests must present a valid form of identification at check-in. If you are unable to provide sufficient identification, Castle Resorts & Hotels will provide you with the best available rate at the time of check-in.

Prepaid Non-Refundable Rate

Castle offers a pre-pay & non-refundable rate for selected properties at various times. To be eligible for this special rate, the full amount must be paid by the time of booking. All bookings are final and may only be altered by a qualified Castle Employee. Cancellation will result in a full stay charge.

Reservation Guarantee

Castle Resorts & Hotels cannot guarantee requests for specific units but will honor such requests when feasible based on availability at check-in. Castle Resorts & Hotels reserves the right to substitute alternate accommodations of a similar or superior room type. All reservations are subject to change or cancellation if rooms become unavailable for reasons including, but not limited to, natural disasters or other acts of nature, damage to the property or maintenance problems, strikes, owner usage, sale of unit, changes in applicable law, or failure of other guests to vacate as scheduled.
