Directions from Lihue Airport (15 miles - 30 minutes)

As you exit Lihue Airport, you will be on Ahukini Road. Continue straight through the traffic light for about a mile until you reach the intersection of Kuhio Highway / Highway 56, where Ahukini Road ends. Turn left onto Kuhio Highway / Highway 56 West which will automatically merge into Highway 50 West. Continue on Highway 50 West as it leaves Lihue toward the Poipu area. Approximately 12 miles down the road, you will see a sign indicating to turn left to Koloa or Poipu. When you turn left you will be on Maluhia Road / Highway 520 which is also known as The Tree Tunnel. As you enter Old Koloa Town, turn right onto Koloa Road. Turn left on to Poipu Road. Follow Poipu Road about two miles where you reach the first of two entrances to Kiahuna Plantation & The Beach Bungalows. Bypass the first or (west) entrance and proceed to the second or (east) entrance turning right to enter. As you come to a stop sign, turn right then a quick left and proceed down the hill. Castle Kiahuna Plantation reception center will be on your right.

Resort & Reservations

Will my credit card get charged?

Yes, your card will be charged the required deposit at booking. If you are booking a non-refundable rate, your card will be charged the entire stay at booking.

Are there any additional fees that I should know about?

A non-refundable reservation processing fee of $30 is applied to each reservation.

A cleaning fee will be applied to all bookings. Fees are per stay, per condo unit, plus taxes.

We do not charge a resort fee.

Do you offer cribs?

Cribs are subject to availability and can be rented for $20 per night. You may request at the time of booking.

Do the rooms include internet access?

Yes, every room offers free high-speed Internet access via cable, as well as free wifi.

Do you offer smoking rooms?

All our rooms are non smoking in compliance with state law.

Unfortunately we do not.

What bath amenities do you provide?

Complimentary bathroom amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, facial soap, and body soap.

Do you have a pool and Jacuzzi?

Yes. Castle guests are offered exclusive use to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club which features an 82,000 gallon resort-style pool with a slide, as well as a sandy-bottom kiddie pool area.

Do you provide beach or pool towels?

Yes, beach towels and chairs are offered at no charge at the Beach Activity Center..

How many floors and elevators do you have?

Bulding range from 1 to 3 floors with no elevators.

What bedding options are available?

The one bedroom suites offer either a king or queen plus a sofa bed. The two bedroon suites offer either a king or queen, two twins plus a sofa bed.

Do you allow pets?

Pets are not allowed in our guest rooms and resort area, with the exception of service animals. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a penalty fee and dismissal from the property.

DINING OPTIONS

Do you have a restaurant, if not what are the closest restaurants and distance?

We do not have an onsite restaurant. However, a wide variety of dining options are available throughout Poipu within a short distance of Kiahuna Plantation Resort. The closest restaurants are directly across the street at Poipu Shopping Village.

Do you offer in-room grocery service?

No, we do not.

TRANSPORTATION & LOCATION

Do you offer transportation?

Public transportations are available from the airport to the property, including car, shuttle, taxi and public transit. Our properties do not offer airport shuttles or transfers.

How close are you to the beach?

Kiahuna Plantation is beachfront.

How far are you from the airport?

The airport is 14.2 miles from Lihue airport, approximately a 25-30 minute drive. If you need driving directions from the airport to the resort.

Airport taxi service?

Yes, we call a taxi for you as needed and requested.

Do you offer parking?

Self parking is available free of charge.

Room Type - Payment & Cancellation Policies

Room Type - Payment Policy

A deposit of 2-nights room + tax and $30 + tax Reservation Fee will be charged at booking. The remaining balance will be collected 30-days prior to arrival. For reservations made 30 to 0 days prior to arrival, 100% of total reservation cost is due at booking.

Room Type - Cancellation Policy

Castle will provide a full refund (excluding the $30 + tax reservation fee and a $100 + tax cancellation fee) for cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival. If a cancellation is made 29 days or less to arrival (including no-shows), all monies collected will be forfeited.

Individual Unit - Payment & Cancellation Policies

Packages & Corporate Club

Taxes and Fees

Room rates are subject to Hawaii General Excise Tax and Transient Accommodations Taxes, which currently totals 14.962%.

A non-refundable reservation processing fee of $30 is applied to each reservation.

A cleaning fee will be applied to all bookings. Fees are per stay, per condo unit, plus taxes.

Minimum Night Stay Policy

There is a 5 Night Minimum Stay for all reservations from December 23 - January 2.

Family Plan
    • Children 17 and under stay free using existing bedding; total occupants including children cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of the confirmed room. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a supplemental per person fee an/or immediate cancellation of the right to occupy the unit.
    • Cribs are subject to availability and can be rented for $20 per night.
    • Rollaway Beds are subject to availability and can be rented for $30 per night.
Additional Comfort
    • Parking is free.
Qualified Rates

To be eligible for a qualified rate (Military, Senior, Kama'aina, Government, AAA/CAA, Commercial, Airline employee, Owner Club, Travel Agent, etc.) guests must present a valid form of identification at check-in. If you are unable to provide sufficient identification, Castle Resorts & Hotels will provide you with the best available rate at the time of check-in.

Prepaid Non-Refundable Rate

Castle offers a pre-pay & non-refundable rate for selected properties at various times. To be eligible for this special rate, the full amount must be paid by the time of booking. All bookings are final and may only be altered by a qualified Castle Employee. Cancellation will result in a full stay charge.

Reservation Guarantee

Castle Resorts & Hotels cannot guarantee requests for specific units but will honor such requests when feasible based on availability at check-in. Castle Resorts & Hotels reserves the right to substitute alternate accommodations of a similar or superior room type. All reservations are subject to change or cancellation if rooms become unavailable for reasons including, but not limited to, natural disasters or other acts of nature, damage to the property or maintenance problems, strikes, owner usage, sale of unit, changes in applicable law, or failure of other guests to vacate as scheduled.
