Getting to Kamaole Sands

2695 South Kihei Road, Kihei, Hawaii 96753
Directions from Kahului Airport (9 miles - 30 minutes)

As you exit the Kahului Airport terminal you will be on Keolani Place. Continue onto Kuihelani Highway / Highway 380. You will reach an intersection at Puunene Avenue, turn left onto Mokulele Highway / Highway 350. Continue driving on Mokulele Highway / Highway 350. As you pass the Puunene Sugar Mill (HC&S) Mokulele Highway / Highway 350 will change to Highway 311. Keep through the sugar fields till you get to a four-way intersection. You are now in Kihei Town. At that stoplight, there are two options you may consider.

Airport Transportation: Speedi Shuttle offers affordable island wide door to door service at a fixed rate, from the airport to all of Castle Resorts & Hotels. Visit the Castle Speedi Shuttle portal and arrange a pickup online.

Will my credit card get charged?

Yes, your card will be charged the respective deposit.

Are there any additional fees that I should know about?

Yes, a non-refundable reservation processing fee of $25 is applied to each reservation.

A one-time resort fee of $35 plus tax applies to each room.

A cleaning fee will be applied to all bookings for stays and will be assessed by the property at check-out. Fees are per stay, per condo unit, plus taxes.

You may request for early check in or late checkout, which will be subject to availability. Fees may apply.

I didn't receive a confirmation. How can I check if my reservation went through?

If you made an online reservation, you will be receiving an email confirmation. Please check your spam/junk mail folder if you have not received anything. To reconfirm your reservation, you can call our customer representative at (800) 367-5004 or send us an email resinquiry@castleresorts.com.

Can I upgrade my room?

Yes, you can upgrade to a larger suite or room with a view. Call us at (800) 367-5004 and a customer representative will be delighted to assist you.

Do you have a resort fee, what is the fee, & what does it include?

We do charge a one-time resort fee of $35 plus tax collected at check-in and includes entry gate cards, parking permit, daily newspaper, computer access in the lobby, Maui magazine, free local and 800 calls, and a weekly Mai Tai Party by the pool on Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:45 PM.

Are requests guaranteed?

You may make requests at the time of booking. Please note, requests are not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

Do you offer cribs?

Yes, cribs are subject to availability and are available for $20 per night.

Do the rooms include internet access?

Yes, every room offers WiFi access.

Do you provide housekeeping service?

Unfortunately, we do not.

What amenities do the rooms have?

All one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites include air conditioning, full kitchens with microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and blender, washer/dryer, television, DVD player, private lanai, and more. For a full list of amenities, pleaase visit our Guest Rooms page.

Do you offer smoking rooms?

All our rooms are non smoking in compliance with state law.

Do you offer ADA rooms, how many and which room types?

Unfortunately we do not.

We have 4 floors and 10 elevators to service them.

What bedding options are available?

All 1-bedrooms suites include 1 queen bed and 1 sofabed. All 2-bedroom suites include 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and 1 sofabed. All 3-bedroom suites include 2 queen beds, 2 twin beds, and 1 sofabed.

DINING OPTIONS

Do you have restaurants on-site

We do not. However, we are just a short walk/drive to Kihei's many restaurants.

TRANSPORTATION & LOCATION

Do you offer transportation?

We do not offer airport shuttles or transfers. However, transportation is available from the airport to the property including taxis, buses, and car service. Since Kihei is a considerable distance from Kahului Airport and Maui is a relatively large island, we strongly advise that you rent a car during your stay on Maui.

How close are you to the beach?

Kamaole Sands is located directly across the street from Kamaole Beach III.

How far are you from the airport?

Approximately 11 miles or a 30 minute drive.

Do you offer parking?

Parking fee is included in the resort fee.

Room Type - Payment & Cancellation Policies

Room Type - Payment Policy

All reservations require a deposit of one night plus Hawaii General Excise Tax to be charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon check-in.

The credit card used for the deposit must be in guest’s name or in the name of a member in the traveling party. The outstanding balance will be collected upon check–in, if not provided prior to arrival. Reservations are not confirmed until the initial deposit and reservation processing fee is received.

Room Type - Cancellation Policy

Refundable if cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival, 29 days or less to arrival forfeits 1 night + General Excise Tax (including no-shows).

Room rates are subject to Hawaii General Excise Tax and Transient Accommodations Taxes, which currently totals 14.416%.

Minimum Night Stay Policy

There is a 4 Night Minimum Stay for all stays from December 19 - March 31.

Family Plan
    • Children 17 and under stay free using existing bedding; total occupants including children cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of the confirmed room. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a supplemental per person fee an/or immediate cancellation of the right to occupy the unit.
    • Cribs are subject to availability and can be rented for $20 per night.
    • Rollaway Beds are subject to availability and can be rented for $30 per night.
Additional Comfort
    • Parking is available free of charge.
    • Additional housekeeping services can be requested for a surcharge.
    • You may use Castle's Island Grocery Delivery Service to order your groceries & have them delivered to your room prior to arrival or during your stay. Visit www.IslandGroceryService.com. Fee applies
Qualified Rates

To be eligible for a qualified rate (Military, Senior, Kamaaina, Government, AAA/CAA, Commercial, Airline employee, Owner Club, Travel Agent, etc.) guests must present a valid form of identification at check-in. If you are unable to provide sufficient identification, Castle Resorts & Hotels will provide you with the best available rate at the time of check-in.

Prepaid Non-Refundable Rate

Castle offers a pre-pay & non-refundable rate for selected properties at various times. To be eligible for this special rate, the full amount must be paid by the time of booking. All bookings are final and may only be altered by a qualified Castle Employee. Cancellation will result in a full stay charge.

Reservation Guarantee

Castle Resorts & Hotels cannot guarantee requests for specific units, unless a specific unit is booked. We will honor such requests when feasible based on availability at check-in. Castle Resorts & Hotels reserves the right to substitute alternate accommodations of a similar or superior room type. All reservations are subject to change or cancellation if rooms become unavailable for reasons including, but not limited to, natural disasters or other acts of nature, damage to the property or maintenance problems, strikes, owner usage, sale of unit, changes in applicable law, or failure of other guests to vacate as scheduled.

Pet Policy

Pets are not allowed in our guest rooms or resort area, with the exception of service animals. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a penalty fee and dismissal from the property.
