  • General Manager - Castle Vacation Rentals

    The General Manager for Castle’s new Vacation Rental (VR) brand will drive its strategy and tactics. With Castle’s reputation in the market, existing resources and products, and the entrepreneurship of the General Manager, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a new VR brand start-up. The ultimate goal is to become the number one Vacation Rental entity for Island Destinations. The General Manager will lead every aspect of the day-to-day operations including: marketing, operations, guest communications, owner communications and work with Business Development team to grow the program.

    Job Description:
    1. Network in the community to build reputation for the brand and a pipeline for leads.
    2. Participate in regulatory discussions with state officials and assist existing user groups with initiatives which would benefit the brand and the overall Vacation Rental regulations for a professional managed entity.
    3. Partner with the Business Development team to lead all efforts to grow the program and number of owners and units. Develop plans and presentations to be held for existing owners as well as leads, RACs, AOAOs and other interest groups.
    4. Partner with the VP of Marketing and Technology to lead all marketing efforts for this brand with emphasis on digital initiatives and website integration and digital distribution. Build omni-channel marketing campaigns across the enterprise.
    5. Partner with the VP of Revenue to collaborate on price and channel strategies for the vacation brand.
    6. Work closely with the VP of Sales, the Sales Team and Reservation Team to optimize the opportunities for direct sales via calls, Travel Agents and corporate accounts.
    7. Lead all housekeeping and maintenance efforts for this brand and ensure that the services are meeting the Vacation Rental brand’s standards. This is the basis for excellent guest and owner experiences, repeat bookings, positive guest reviews, and help to maintain the homes.
    8. Partner with VP of Operations to develop operational plans for housekeeping, maintenance, hub-and-spoke, check-in/check-out as well as overall standard operating procedures.
    9. Develop KPIs for every aspect of the business which tied to top line revenue and segmentation will be the foundation of reporting and measurement.
    10. Brand building – with marketing team lead the overall branding process of this Vacation Rental brand and focus on driving awareness and ensure that the brand is deployed consistently.
    11. Lead and become the ambassador for Vacation Rentals related areas in the Newyse system (Vendor: Maxxton). Including, but not limited to rate management, guest communication, channel distribution, inventory management, and owner management.
    12. Manage a team to make sure they are consistently meeting KPIs metrics expectations.
    13. Participate in all scheduled company meetings, presentations and communication meetings as required and necessary.
    14. Continual update and knowledge of current and new marketing and digital technologies for possible enhancement applications. Participate in training and certification programs.
    15. Lead the development and implementation of the overall Vacation Rental plan as well as associated budgets and ongoing PnL.

  • Relief Reservations Agent

    The primary role of the Relief Reservations Agent is to take owner, guest and non-rental reservations for Kamaole Sands and input them into the Newyse system in an efficient, timely manner. Requests for reservations may be communicated via email, fax, phone, Skype and in person. The agent serves as an ambassador for Kamaole Sands and Castle Resorts & Resorts to both owners and guests and has a direct effect on revenue.

    Job Description:
    1. Answer all incoming calls within 3 rings, servicing customer inquiries and making room reservations professionally and efficiently.
    2. Listen to customer requests and quote room rates and availability based on their needs while adhering to property restrictions.
    3. Assign room numbers to reservations on day reservation is received.
    4. Respond/reply to email and phone call requests within twenty-four (24) hours.

    4. In collaboration with VP, develop and implement Social Media strategy and tactics with the assistance of third party tools and vendor. Develop brand, regional and property specific campaigns with primary focus on increasing engagements with Castle’s guests/followers.
    5. Work closely with the Ecommerce, Sales and Revenue teams to drive omni channel marketing campaigns across the enterprise.
    6. Lead all initiatives for multimedia across all channels and products, including managing vendors as well as hands on work editing multimedia as needed (via Adobe Suite).
    7. Lead the efforts to develop a new Travel Agent portal as well as continued build out of a Customer and Travel Agent loyalty program.
    8. Develop marketing strategies and tactics with budgets and well defined KPIs for each market segment for the hotel, condo and VR products.
    9. Brand building – with executive team, lead the overall branding process and focus on driving awareness and ensure that the brands are deployed consistently.
