Directions from the Airport (7 miles - 15 minutes)

Exit the Lihue Airport and turn right at the first traffic signal onto Kapule Highway/ Highway 51. Continue on Kapule Highway / Highway 51 until it intersects with Kuhio Highway / Highway 56. Drive a little less than 5 miles, turn right onto Kamoa Road (across from McDonalds). Destination will be straight ahead.

Resort & Reservations

Will my credit card get charged?

Yes, your card will be charged the required deposit at booking. If you are booking a non-refundable rate, your card will be charged the entire stay at booking.

Are there any additional fees that I should know about?

A daily resort fee of $30.00 plus tax will be charged upon check-in. Resort fee includes: water bottle, water refill station, bicycle use (subject to availability), yoga, parking, and WiFi.

Is the deposit refundable?

Yes, as long as the cancellation does not fall within the cancel period.

What is your cancellation policy?

How do I modify or cancel my reservation?

What time is check-in? Check out?

Standard check in time is after 3pm HST and check out is before 11am HST.

What are your front desk hours & after hours procedures?

Front desk hours: 7:00 am – 10:00 pm.

For after-hours check-in, please call the on-site security at 1-808-651-6821. Please see the front desk the next morning during business hours to complete your registration.

Can I request an early check in or late check out?

You may request for early checkin or late checkout, which will be subject to availability. Fees may apply.

I didn't receive a confirmation. How can I check if my reservation went through?

If you made an online reservation, you will be receiving an email confirmation. Please check your spam/junk mail folder if you have not received anything. To reconfirm your reservation, you can call our customer representative at (800) 367-5004 or send us an email resinquiry@castleresorts.com.

Can I upgrade my room?

Yes, you can upgrade to a larger suite or room with a view. Call us at (800) 367-5004 and a customer representative will be delighted to assist you.

Do you have a resort fee, what is the fee, & what does it include?

Yes, we have a daily resort fee of $30 plus tax that will be charged upon check-in. Resort fee includes water bottle, water refill station, bicycle use, Yoga and other fitness options on the lawn, parking and WiFi

Are requests guaranteed?

You may make requests at the time of booking. Please note, requests are not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.

Do you offer smoking rooms?

All our rooms are non smoking in compliance with state law.

Do you offer ADA rooms, how many and which room types?

We do not offer 100% ADA-compliant rooms at this time, but are currently working on it. We do offer rooms with a roll-in shower and ADA-friendly configuration. Please contact us to book.

SERVICES & AMENITIES

What bath amenities do you provide?

Complimentary bathroom amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, facial soap, and body soap.

Do you have a pool and Jacuzzi?

Our pool is open daily from 9am - 10pm. We do not have a Jacuzzi.

Do you provide beach or pool towels?

Yes, we provide beach towels.

How many floors and elevators do you have?

We have 3 floors with no elevators.

What bedding options are available?

All hotel rooms include 1 King or 2 Double beds. Our 1 Bedroom Ocean View rooms have 1 King bed with a pull-out sofa.

Bedding selections are provided by request only and we do not guarantee the requested bedding type. We do, however, do the very best we can to accommodate your requests.

Do you allow pets?

Pets are not allowed in our guest rooms and resort area, with the exception of service animals. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a penalty fee and dismissal from the property.

DINING OPTIONS

Is breakfast included?

Yes, a complimentary Grab & Go Breakfast is served daily in the nook off the front lobby

Please Note: per the directive from the Hawaii Governor's Office, Effective March 22, 2020 the complimentary continental breakfast will not be offered.

Do you have a restaurant, if not what are the closest restaurants and distance?

Yes. The Bullshed Restaurant is located in the building next to the putting green. It is open 7 days a week from 4:30 pm - 9:30 pm.

Please Note: per the directive from the Hawaii Governor's Office, the Bull Shed restaurant will be closed from March 19, 2020 until further notice. Effective March 22, 2020 the complimentary continental breakfast will not be offered. For Hotel guests of The ISO, menus from restaurants and eateries that deliver to the hotel are available in the lobby for guests inquiring about food options.

TRANSPORTATION & LOCATION

Do you offer transportation?

Public transportations are available from the airport to the property, including car, shuttle, taxi and public transit. Our properties do not offer airport shuttles or transfers.

How close are you to the beach?

While The ISO is a oceanfront resort, the beach fronting our resort is not swimmable. The closest swimable beach is Lydgate beach park.

How far are you from the airport?

Approximately 7 miles or a 15 minute drive.

Airport taxi service?

Yes, we call a taxi for you as needed and requested.

Do you offer parking?

Self parking is included in the resort fee.

Policies

Room Type - Payment & Cancellation Policies

Room Type - Payment Policy

All reservations require a deposit of one night plus tax to be charged at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due upon check-in.

Room Type - Cancellation Policy

Castle will provide a full refund for cancellations made up to 4 days prior to arrival. If a cancellation is made 3 days or less to arrival (including no-shows), deposit will be forfeited.

Individual Unit - Payment & Cancellation Policies

Individual Unit - Payment Policy

A deposit of 2-nights room + tax will be charged at booking. The remaining balance will be collected 30-days prior to arrival. For reservations made 30 to 0 days prior to arrival, 100% of total reservation cost is due at booking.

Individual Unit - Cancellation Policy

Castle will provide a full refund (excluding a $100 + tax cancellation fee) for cancellations made up to 30 days prior to arrival. If a cancellation is made 29 days or less to arrival (including no-shows), all monies collected will be forfeited.

General Policies

Packages & Corporate Club

Taxes and Fees
  • Room rates are subject to Hawaii General Excise Tax and Transient Accommodations Taxes, which currently totals 14.962%.
  • A daily resort fee of $30.00 plus tax will be charged to guest upon check-in. Resort fee includes: water bottle, water refill station, bicycle use (subject to availability), Yoga, parking and WiFi.
  • A cleaning fee of $345 plus tax will be applied to all bookings in the Beach House unit. Fees are per stay, per condo unit, plus taxes.

Minimum Night Stay Policy

There is a 3 Night Minimum Stay for all reservations from December 23 - January 2.

Family Plan
    • Children 17 and under stay free using existing bedding; total occupants including children cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of the confirmed room. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a supplemental per person fee an/or immediate cancellation of the right to occupy the unit.
    • Cribs are available free of charge (subject to availability).
    • Air beds are subject to availability and are free of charge.
Additional Comfort
    • Parking is covered in the daily resort fee.
Qualified Rates

To be eligible for a qualified rate (Military, Senior, Kamaaina, Government, AAA/CAA, Commercial, Airline employee, Owner Club, Travel Agent, etc.) guests must present a valid form of identification at check-in. If you are unable to provide sufficient identification, Castle Resorts & Hotels will provide you with the best available rate at the time of check-in.

Prepaid Non-Refundable Rate

Castle offers a pre-pay & non-refundable rate for selected properties at various times. To be eligible for this special rate, the full amount must be paid by the time of booking. All bookings are final and may only be altered by a qualified Castle Employee. Cancellation will result in a full stay charge.

Reservation Guarantee

Castle Resorts & Hotels cannot guarantee requests for specific units but will honor such requests when feasible based on availability at check-in. Castle Resorts & Hotels reserves the right to substitute alternate accommodations of a similar or superior room type. All reservations are subject to change or cancellation if rooms become unavailable for reasons including, but not limited to, natural disasters or other acts of nature, damage to the property or maintenance problems, strikes, owner usage, sale of unit, changes in applicable law, or failure of other guests to vacate as scheduled.
