Directions from Auckland International Airport (30 kilometers - 40 minutes)

Take State Highway 20A to State Highway 20 in Mangere. Continue on State Highway 20 to Royal Oak. Get on State Highway 1 in Epsom from The Drive and Gillies Avenue. Follow State Highway 1 to Esmonde Road in Northcote. Take Exit 420 from State Highway 1. Continue on Esmonde Road. Turn left onto Burns Avenue, and then take the third right onto Byron Avenue.

A non-refundable $25 Reservation Processing fee will be charged at the time of booking.

Is the deposit refundable?

Yes, as long as the cancellation does not fall within the cancel period.

What is your cancellation policy?

Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to arrival (NZST) to avoid a penalty of 1 night stay plus tax. Cancellations after this deadline may be subject to charges equal to one night's stay. Advance booking reservations may not be cancelled or modified once confirmed.

Standard check in time is after 3pm and check out is before 11am.

Yes, we do.

Do you provide beach or pool towels?

No, but you are welcome to use the towels in your room.

Unfortunately, we do not.

Do you have a restaurant, if not what are the closest restaurants and distance?

Yes. Thyme Restaurant features modern New Zealand cuisine and is available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Club Bar offers light fare.

TRANSPORTATION & LOCATION

Do you offer transportation?

Public transportation is available from the airport to the property. You can choose from car hire, shuttle service, or taxis. The hotel doesn't offer an airport shuttle service.

How close are you to the beach?

We are just 500 metres from Takapuna Beach.

How far are you from the airport?

Approximately 30 kilometers or a 40 minute drive.

Can you arrange an airport taxi for me?

Yes, we can call a taxi for you on request.

Do you offer parking?

Yes. Self parking is available for $20 per day, subject to availability. Valet parking is available for $35 per day. Parking for long-stay guests is $100 per week. Parking for Thyme Restaurant patrons is free.

Packages & Corporate Club

Taxes and Fees
    • Room rates are subject to a 15% Government Service Tax.
    • A non-refundable $25 Reservation Processing fee will be charged at the time of booking.
Minimum Night Stay Policy

There is no minimum night stay requirement.

Family Plan
    • Children 17 and under stay free using existing bedding; total occupants including children cannot exceed the maximum occupancy of the confirmed room. Noncompliance with this policy can result in a supplemental per person fee an/or immediate cancellation of the right to occupy the unit.
    • Cribs are subject to availability and can be rented free of charge.
    • Rollaway Beds are subject to availability and can be rented for $55 including GST.
Additional Comfort
    • Self parking is available for $20 per day, subject to availability. Valet parking is available for $35 per day. Parking for long-stay guests is $100 per week. Parking for Thyme Restaurant patrons is free.
Qualified Rates

To be eligible for a qualified rate (Military, Senior, Local Resident, Government, AAA/CAA, Commercial, Airline employee, Owner Club, Travel Agent, etc.) guests must present a valid form of identification at check-in. If you are unable to provide sufficient identification, Castle Resorts & Hotels will provide you with the best available rate at the time of check-in.

Prepaid Non-Refundable Rate

Castle offers a pre-pay & non-refundable rate for selected properties at various times. To be eligible for this special rate, the full amount must be paid by the time of booking. All bookings are final and may only be altered by a qualified Castle Employee. Cancellation will result in a full stay charge.

Reservation Guarantee

Castle Resorts & Hotels cannot guarantee requests for specific units but will honor such requests when feasible based on availability at check-in. Castle Resorts & Hotels reserves the right to substitute alternate accommodations of a similar or superior room type. All reservations are subject to change or cancellation if rooms become unavailable for reasons including, but not limited to, natural disasters or other acts of nature, damage to the property or maintenance problems, strikes, owner usage, sale of unit, changes in applicable law, or failure of other guests to vacate as scheduled.
